Stevenson Mock Trial Takes First Place at Haverford College Black Squirrel Invitational
Congratulations to the ¶ºÄÌÊÓƵ Mock Trial team for winning first place at the 2023 Black Squirrel Invitational hosted by Haverford College. The team won 10 out of 12 of its trials against Wesleyan College, American University, Tufts University, and Yale University. In addition to the team’s win, sophomore Joshua Brown earned an outstanding witness award.
The Black Squirrel Invitational is known as one of the best and most challenging mock trial tournaments. The 2023 tournament was held at the Juanita Kidd Stout Center for Criminal Justice in Philadelphia, PA, and attracted teams from 17 colleges and universities, including Princeton University, Johns Hopkins University, University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), and Penn State University, among others.
